Managing Runtype with Claude

You can fully manage all aspects of your Runtype account, including product surfaces, agents, flows, and records, from within Claude. You can even run on-demand agents and flows.

Since Runtype supports OAuth for MCP, you can securely connect to Claude in a few clicks.

To do this, head to Claude's Settings -> Connectors area.

Click Add customer connector to bring up the custom connector dialog

Choose what you want the name of the connector to be ("Runtype" below) and use this for the URL:

https://api.runtype.com/v1/mcp/protocol

When you press Add it will show up as a connector. Press Connect to start the authorization process. Claude will redirect you to you Runtype dashboard.

Next in your Runtype dashboard, you must approve the connection to securely connect Runtype to Claude.

Back in Claude, you should see a Configure button. That means Runtype is connected.

Now, whenever you ask Claude about your account, whether it is to list, update, delete, or run entities, it will connect to Runtype to accurately answer the question and execute tasks.
